QUAKER VALLEY Railroad
- The Layout in Video
I acquired a Sony HDR-AS100V video
camera, to both shoot 1080P video and to explore the broadcast quality
of the wifi in this camera. It does a nice job of transmiting a
live picture from the camera to a tablet or PC that could be used with
a fixed throttle like the PI Engineering Rail Driver. I also have
created a youtube video of a run over the Quaker Valley
Railroad that gives an engineer's perspective of the layout. I
have cut the tunnel interior views, but there are still some areas
shown that offer a behind the scenes look at the continuing development
of the Quaker Valley.
The Sony video camera nestled in a gondola for a trip on the Quaker Valley mainline.
